A New Chapter for Twin County Recovery Services
Twin County Recovery Services is proud to begin a new chapter as part of the Addictions Care Center of Albany family, following our merger with ACCA, effective September 2026. For more than 50 years, TCRS has been committed to helping individuals and families affected by addiction throughout Columbia and Greene Counties. This next chapter builds on that legacy while expanding our collective ability to serve communities across the Capital Region and the Hudson Valley.
The merger strengthens our geographic reach, deepens the expertise and resources available to those we serve, and creates new opportunities to advance our shared commitment to recovery, wellness, and community well-being. While our organization is growing and evolving, our commitment to the individuals, families, and communities we serve remains at the heart of our work.
As we look toward ACCA’s 60th anniversary in 2027, we will share more about our future together, including a broader public rebranding initiative that will celebrate this milestone and the next chapter of our work. We are all unified under our shared mantra, Together in Recovery, as we look forward to strengthening our commitment to support those affected by addiction.

Twin County Recovery Services (TCRS) is dedicated to addressing the impact of substance use disorder across the regions it serves. Through a coordinated network of programs and services, TCRS supports individuals, families, and communities affected by substance use, with an emphasis on accessibility, accountability, and responsiveness to local needs.
TCRS' presence in Columbia and Greene Counties reflects a long-standing history of service in the region. The organization has operated as a private, non-profit provider since 1974, delivering services intended to help alleviate the effects of substance use disorder within these communities.
All TCRS programs operate in accordance with the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports, with services regulated and licensed by that office. Across all locations, TCRS remains committed to operating within state oversight while serving the needs of the individuals and communities it supports.
